Message from our Area Chairman

Good afternoon Kent members

I hope you are all well and staying safe.

Last night’s speech by the Queen was uplifting and as a nation we are strong, our own Kent members are out there on the front line or members of their families supporting us in many ways and we support and admire them. 

So many events in our calendar this year have been cancelled or changed to protect everyone,
We had such a special celebration planned in conjunction with the Royal British legion to celebrate 60 years in Kent on NFA day and leading into 75years of VE Day.  Jacqui Arnold was leading a team of designers to put on a special display at their new home in Aylesford complete with military vehicles for this and many special guests and media coverage but alas it’s just another casualty of these strange times- so let’s get behind this virtual NFA day on the 1st May from the safety of our homes and make designs and post them on the forum - why not dedicate them on our special day to someone you know on the front line keeping us all safe.
