The club was formed in 1965, initially by a group who met in a member's house as most of the members at that time had families and young children. When the group became too large to continue in this manner it became necessary to find an alternative venue.
The club has 10 meetings per year. Members pay a yearly subscription of £35.00 and visitors are charged £4.00 per visit.
The programme is varied to incorporate practical flower arranging in various styles, demonstrations and occasional visits. Many of our members are long standing with experience in flower arranging and floristry and are always willing to advise and support new members if needed.
