Hythe Flower Club meets on the 1st Monday of the month at United Reform Church, East Street, Hythe, CT21 5ND which is opposite The Bell Pub. In Jun, July, Sept, and Oct we meet at 7 for 7pm. Hythe Flower Club celebrated their 50 anniversary in 2017. The hall in which we meet is comfortable and warm and members enjoy tea/coffee/biscuits on arrival. There is easy parking on site and in local roads.
Our membership is growing slowly, and we are in a position to be able to have six or seven demonstrators each year. We offer a couple of workshops and one imposed evening each year, when members can participate or spectate as they please. It is always amazing how different the members’ composed arrangements are, given the identical flowers and accessories. On alternate years we have a very successful Flower Festival when our members produce 20 or so, arrangements depicting a chosen theme.
New members are very welcome, and receive a gift bundle of flower arranging magazines.
