Hartley & District Flower Club meets at 7.30pm on the 4th Thursday of the month at All Saints Church Centre, Ash Road, Hartley, DA3 8DB.

We are a friendly club who like to have mainly practical evenings to hone our skills and learn from each other. We always welcome visitors and new members with open hours. See our Facebook Page,

February 26th A PRACTICAL EVENING ENTITLED
‘Chinese New Year – YEAR OF THE FIRE HORSE’
Your own interpretation of the title – you can focus on any of the words or the whole thing.
March 26th A PRACTICAL EVENING ENTITLED
‘A BOX ARRANGEMENT’
Making an arrangement in a box. Demonstration by Chris, then create your own personal design using a box of any size or material.
April 23rd A PRACTICAL EVENING ENTITLED
‘WHIMSICAL WOODLAND’
Make your own design to reflect a Spring woodland.
May 28th A DEMONSTRATION BY VINETA FORSTMANE-ELSONE ‘LAND OF THE MIDNIGHT SUN’
Invite your friends to come and enjoy the evening with us.
June 25th A PRACTICAL EVENING
‘FLORAL CHALLENGE’
Some of our members will be undertaking as ‘imposed challenge’ whilst there will be alternative activities for the rest of us to try (more details nearer the time).
July 23rd A DEMONSTRATION BY TRUDI EASTWOOD
‘QUEEN BEES’
Invite your friends to come and enjoy the evening with
us.
August AFTERNOON TEA (2PM – 4PM)

An evening to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the
club.
October 22nd A PRACTICAL EVENING
AN ALL FOLIAGE ARRANGEMENT
An arrangement of any size or shape to show how flowers are not always needed to make a great arrangement.
November 26th A PRACTICAL EVENING
An arrangement using a Lantern.
December 10th CHRISTMAS LUNCH at the Hilltop Restaurant
12.30pm for sit down at 1.00pm.
