We were given a fun filled day of laughter and fabulous flowers on March 30th for JDSEP day at Ditton. Alan Haines had us heckling , singing and most of all laughing to the well remembered times of the baby boomer generation.
Robin White wowed with his usual wonderful designs and described how he decided on the theme which led him to win Designer of the Year in 2019. His finale was truly astounding, reminding us that he had originally planned to celebrate Kent Floral Art's Diamond Anniversary. He asked that we video the unveiling to allow all those who couldn't attend a chance to see what they missed view here: https://youtu.be/TqP3bCiNwoc On Thursday 17th March representatives from club committee's joined the Executive and JDSE&P teams for a fun day in Hothfield while dealing with problems facing clubs. There were ideas for things to do at clubs, chances to meet people from other clubs, breakout sessions for treasurers, programme secretaries and chairman to address some of their concerns, a mini-workshop, a mini-talk and a demonstration with a difference...... oh and there was lots of cake!
Many members arrived looking nervous as not sure what to expect but went away smiling having made new friends More photos on the Gallery page.
