Congratulations to Gill Smaggasgale, Kent demonstrator and speaker and our own Kent Chairman, for her article about creating a suspended sculpture with contorted willow for the Virtual Flower Festival staged for easter 21 in the spring edition of Flora magazine.
You can also see Trudie Easton's (area demonstrator) Winning Chelsea exhibit ' Nature is our Medicine' Trudie won a gold medal and The President's award for best floral installation. This is now a single competition with florists and there is not a separate NAFAS competition studio. We received two entries for the October National Chairman's Competition. The design on the left is by Jean Hoar of Hartley and the one on the right by KM Williams of Ashford. Jean's design went forward to the national competition but sadly was not placed. Well done to both of you for your delightful autumnal designs

Three members of Kent Floral Art were successful in the NAFAS National Photography Competition. Congratulations to Peter Moore of Shorne, Pauline Pearce of Dartford and Sue Shaw of Maidstone who were all placed. There were 542 entries from 83 people so they did very well.
