Fun With Hoops Workshop with Gill Smaggasgale - October 2023 Something different at a recent Kent Workshop lead by Gill Smaggasgale. Using embroidery hoops or picture frames with dried flowers and tulle or pressed flowers and paper or paper flowers with interfacing, participants produced some beautiful work and learnt some new techniques which could be scaled up for the home, flower festivals, church or competitions.
Beginner's Course 2023 It was lovely to meet some new members of Kent Flower Clubs on the first day of the Beginners Course which is being tutored by the extremely talented and experienced Avril Hill. An afternoon of fun and friendship through flowers
Robin White's workshop was held on 24th Feb 2022- the title was " Configuration" The below photographs are some examples of some of the outstanding expertise of our members. I'm glad that I was only taking photos - not trying to make such a creation! Janet Henley
In April 2021 we had a fabulous virtual Kent Workshop with the talented Jackie Brooks entitled Wearing Nature's Finest. Jackie helped us get ready for the party season. Some photos of the designs are below. To see more, go to the gallery page
Kent Workshops are a great opportunity to learn new techniques, improve old techniques and meet people from other clubs who share your passion for flower arranging. It is a fun, friendly and supportive atmosphere
